AiRS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing women access to breast reconstruction surgery, after mastectomy.Restorative breast surgery is a vital part of total physical and emotional healing for many breast cancer survivors, yet up to 70% of those who would like to have it do not have the insurance or other financial resources to cover the costs. We invite everyone to join in this 5K to show solidarity and support for these courageous women and to help make a difference in their lives. With this 2nd Annual AiRS In The Pink 5K race, we are expanding our mission to increase awareness, promote education and provide funding to allow access for all women, regardless of their economic circumstances. Funds raised from In The Pink 5K Color Run/Walk will benefit breast cancer survivors as well as those carrying breast cancer genes who connect with AiRS Foundation for help navigating their best options, including breast reconstructive surgery.
