Barre3, a global network of studios and the innovative leader of the ballet barre fitness movement, is set to open its first location in Richardson, Texas at 1387 W. Campbell Road. The studio will open its doors Monday, January 9th. To celebrate the barre3 Richardson studio opening, owner Angela Fry will be offering free classes and free childcare during the first week! A modern evolution of barre created by fitness expert, Sadie Lincoln, barre3 offers a whole-body health approach to wellness with smart, balanced and incredibly effective workouts influenced by yoga and Pilates and nutritious whole-foods-based recipes.
Since launching in 2008, barre3 has grown to over one hundred studios around the globe, building a worldwide community of fiercely loyal fans who are inspired by healthy, balanced living and captivated by the intense workouts in studios and online videos. Fry says that opening the Richardson, Texas studio was a no-brainer for her, embracing the opportunity to create a supportive community of wellness with childcare made available. “My family and I are passionate about health and wellness and barre3 gives us an opportunity to share that passion with our community of Richardson. We have found that Richardson does not have anything like barre3, providing a super effective workout, offers a community outside of work and home, and provides quality childcare.” says Fry.
“My passion is teaching and connecting with clients beyond the barre, including our workouts. What I love most about barre3 is the community that we create. I have always enjoyed group fitness but there is something special about barre3.”
Barre3’s signature workouts balance strength training through isometric holds and small, one-inch movements with seamless recovery stretches. Unlike other barre-inspired workouts, barre3 incorporates larger, functional movements with cardio to jumpstart the metabolism and re-oxygenate the body. As both a fitness system and whole-health philosophy, barre3 helps clients to realize amazing, lasting results – a strong physique and a happy, balanced mindset.
“In just eight years, barre3 has grown from a single studio in Portland, Oregon to over 125 locations, 300+ workouts streaming online, and a growing cache of nourishing recipes” says Sadie Lincoln, founder of barre3. “Our mission is to make barre3 accessible to anyone, anywhere with studios across the US and abroad. Partnering with passionate entrepreneurs and health advocates like Angela makes this possible. We are thrilled to make barre3 Richardson a part of the family.”
