Tell us a little about yourself.

As a Colombian, beauty has always been a big part of life. I remember as a child making home-made masks with my mother and covering ourselves with natural ingredients to “beautify ourselves.”

I have always adored makeup and the power of it.

I remember the day I stepped into a Mac store, my heart was on fire! I also remember vividly, the girl at the counter who quickly shut me down. I never thought about it again until I had finished grad-school and was working in the corporate world. I helped a friend with some beauty tips at an all girls party, and in the room there was a professional makeup artist watching me. The artist called me out and said:

“You should do this for a living! In fact, I need you! Come and work with me as a freelancer this Saturday.”

So, I did and 6 years later I am loving my life as an artist. I am so thankful I get to do what I love. In fact, I know that this is what I was created to be... an artist

My main focus has been bridal beauty and makeup education. I love the atmosphere and the emotions of a wedding day. Best part, I get to be the one a bride spends her most special day getting ready.

The role of a makeup educator just comes to me as a second nature. I love giving, and I believe that the best way of giving is sharing knowledge. My biggest dream is to leave a legacy so for now I am sowing seeds for the future.

What are your TOP beauty regimens and tips for brides?

  • Never go to sleep with your makeup on. At night time is when your cells repair from the damage that occurs during the day: free radicals, UV damage and so forth. So wash your face and moisturize with the best! We only have one face we have to take care of it.
  • HONEY. Raw natural honey three times per week or more. Honey is nature’s beauty balm. It is nourishing, anti-bacterial, hydrating and calming. If you have dry skin: honey; if you have acne: honey; dullness: honey. Try it! I also use it on my hair. For brighter skin, remove your honey mask with lemon wedges and leave lemon on for a few seconds.
  • The third is a beauty tip for my brides, most brides experience so much stress that it is inevitable to have a little breakout the day before, or the week of the wedding. My advice is to use baking soda with lemon on the zit and leave it on as a paste overnight. After rinsing apply neosporin ointment to kill the bacteria trapped in the pores and finish with some honey.

Name some of your favorite DFW beauty services and/or brands you love.

My favorite salon: LG & Company! Lauren Hill Gonzalez is my hair Guru and the genius behind my silver metallic hair! I can’t tell you enough how much I love the experience and the incredible talent these stylist have! Best in Dallas!

My favorite spa is Etre Belle. The ladies at Etre Belle helped me lose over 34 lbs in a matter of 60 days. They also have the best lip injectors in the DFW and other great services, especially for a bride on a deadline. Great HCG diet plan and weight loss programs. Skin treatments for every need and much more. I just love what I have experienced at the Etre Belle Spa.

Describe your brand in the 3 words:

Luxury, Beauty, Confidence.

What do you love most about the Dallas/Ft.Worth?

I love my city and the women I meet and work with here! They have a great sense for fashion, they are great at taking care of themselves and, of course, the nicest. I really believe that the DFW has some of the prettiest girls in the country! I love to be the one to enhance their God-given beauty.
