Beginning this month, Daireds Salon & Spa Pangéa will be one of the few spas in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to offer two new cosmetic anti-aging services, SkinPen and Kybella.
The SkinPen service, which has been featured on Good Morning America, The View and USA Today, will launch on April 1. SkinPen is a state-of-the-art micro-needling treatment that is safe for all skin types to improve the appearance and texture of skin by reducing scars, stretch marks, fine lines and wrinkles, discoloration and large pores. Daireds’ estheticians are specially trained to perform the SkinPen treatment during which the skin’s self-repairing process is induced by thousands of precise pinpricks to produce collagen. Two minimally-invasive needle depths assess different needs; the dermis is reached to smooth fine lines and the epidermis to minimize scars.
SkinPen can be utilized all over the body, including the face, neck, chest, arms and legs. Depending on size of the area treated, the service typically takes about 45 minutes including the application of a topical numbing cream beforehand. Most people typically require at least three treatments, each four weeks apart, to achieve optimal results. Those who receive the treatment must follow an at-home daily skincare regimen using specially-formulated products from Skinfuse. An individual SkinPen treatment is $300, and the SkinPen Series Package is $1300, which includes 3 treatments, a Skinfuse Post Procedure Home Regimen Kit and one Skinfuse Surge Collagen Boost.
Additionally, Kybella will launch at Daireds in April. It is the first FDA-approved non-surgical injection to improve the appearance of what is commonly referred to as the double chin. Once injected, Kybella destroys fat cells and prevents them from reaccumulating, which reduces moderate to severe fullness below the chin. Typically, results are visible after two injections. Prior to the service, one of Daireds’ medical spa professionals meets with each client to determine the best cosmetic dermatology treatment plan for that individual. The first Kybella injection is $700, and additional treatments are $600.
“Daireds is proud to be on the leading edge to offer the latest treatments in skincare to the DFW area,“ said owner Daired Ogle. “The goal of our professional team of estheticians and board-certified medical professionals is to help clients look and feel their best.”
