DFW Beauty Chat: Bunny Meyer

Bunny Meyer is an American YouTube personality who goes by the username grav3yardgirl. As of 2015, she is one of the highest paid YouTube personalities.

We caught up with Bunny to chat a bit about her brand and why she's excited to come visit the Dallas/Ft.Worth this weekend for BeautyCon - Dallas

Tell us a little about your background.

I grew up in Texas but didn’t start getting into YouTube right away. I was making clothes and sewing but after a very bad car accident I wasn't able to sew as easily and was a little depressed and my friend told me I should go on YouTube. So, I made my first video and the rest is history.

What are some of your favorite beauty regimens and tips?

I absolutely LOVE my beauty blender, its perfect for almost anything. You can contour, highlight, blend its really great. that’s why I wanted to be sure to have them included in the box that I help curate for Beautycon.

DFW Beauty Guide: Beauty Blender

What are some of your most trusted beauty brands?

This is a tough one, I feel like there are so many amazing brands out there and I am always excited to try new things and to share with my fans.

Describe your brand in the 3 words:

Different, honest and real!

What's on the horizon for you?

I can’t really say. I wish I could say, but all I can say is that it’s going to be REALLY exciting!

Care to share your must-have spring accessories, this season?

I love any kind of funky shoe, the funkier the better! That’s what really completes my outfits, or a hat, I kind of can’t really live without either.

DFW Beauty Guide:

Go-to product of the moment?

That would have to be my staple red lipstick, I have lots that I like but I always gravitate to Mac’s Ruby Woo. It’s the perfect shade of red with a blue undertone.

Lip gloss or matte?

I definitely have to go with a matte!

What do you love most about the Dallas/Ft.Worth? What are you excited to see?

I am super excited to see my fans!

I love to hear their stories and meet them face to face. I would do it everyday if I could. The love and support that I receive from everyone in our community is so magical and positive and I love connecting with them.
