DFW Beauty Guide: Fall Beauty

DFW Beauty Guide - Fall Beauty

As much as we love seeing bold experimental makeup on the runway in the moment, we really appreciate when a beauty look is something that's easy to recreate at home. From berry lips to flushed cheeks, these are the top trends from Fall 2015 that we are going to start trying out ASAP.

GRAPHIC LINER

Tweak  the classic cat eye by opting for a more straight across swipe of black kohl like we saw at Oscar de la Renta. This is a more modern way to wear liner that elongates and lifts the eye and adds intrigue to the face.

FLUSHED CHEEKS

This season a handful of designers tasked their makeup artists with creating a look that many of those attending fashion week already had: flushed cheeks from the winter cold. At J.Crew they wanted the models to look like they just stepped off the slopes, while Kate Spade had a look that was all about a girl on a brisk wintry walk.

BRONZE SHADOW

We've seen metallic eyeshadow before, but this season many makeup artists opt for bronze rather than classic gold or silver. The color really warms up the face and works paired with the earlier mentioned '90s lip color or something more natural like at Zac Posen

 '90S LIPS

From ripe berry lips at Carolina Herrera (pictured left) to plum black lips at Marc Jacobs to oxblood red at 3.1 Phillip Lim, this season we saw a sea of lip color that would definitely get Angela Chase's stamp of approval.
