Name & Age:
Christina Beauchamp, 25
Fashion + Fitness Blogger for FitnessandFrills.com
A little background:
I moved to Dallas with my husband Tom in 2013. We love everything about Dallas! It is totally our style. We are both Baylor University grads, go Bears! I love finding the best of the best and then sharing my fab finds with others. I am always on the hunt for the best version of everything – whether it be the most flattering pencil skirt, a bootcamp-style workout, or a lash-boosting mascara.
Fashion is my first love. Nothing is more fun than putting together the perfect ensemble to rock a new trend. I like every outfit that I wear to make a statement – whether it be Kate Middleton classic or Kate Hudson boho.
Beauty regimens and tips?
I am a frilly girl at heart and I love to beautify.
My basic staples are Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation & Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. My beauty regimen does have one top-secret ingredient that you would never imagine I use on my face --- it’s Cornstarch! I apply cornstarch with a powder brush post-foundation and pre-powder. It will keep any oil at bay ALL DAY. It is a lifesaver!
What are your favorite local DFW beauty brands or beauty related services?
Brows are everything. To maintain mine, I go to Arch by Suki. Suki will shape your brows to perfection and the best part is that her threading technique doesn’t hurt a bit! Plus she gives you the most heavenly eyebrow massage (who knew that even existed?!) and she fills in your brows perfectly with her own line of eyebrow powders. She is the brow master!
Also, I am such a girly girl and I LOVE getting my makeup done professionally! Micaela Soto at Salon 4411 on Lemmon Ave. is such a talent, and I love that she uses MAC products. She is my go-to for special occasions and events (plus she is super sweet!)
Must-have summer accessories?
Beaded bracelet stacks are having a major comeback this summer, and I am loving them – especially in vibrant hues. I am also currently crushing on the ále by Allesandra spring line for Bauble Bar. It is #amaze.
Favorite local wellness spot?
I love researching natural solutions for health and well-being. About a year ago, I read about the detoxifying benefits of infrared saunas, and I knew I had to check one out! I tried the IR Sauna at Balancing Energy Health & Yoga Center in the Design District and I was sold! Post sauna sesh, I always feel energized and healthy. Plus they say you can burn 200-500 calories per session. I’ll take that any day!
If you could have dinner with any local DFW woman, who would it be?
Hmmm… well there are so many fab DFW women that I would LOVE to get to know! As a blogger I would really enjoy having dinner with Courtney Kerr. She is hilarious and such an inspiration. Her style is swoon-worthy and I am kind of obsessed with Courtney Loves Dallas on Bravo :)
Any last words, pieces of wisdom and/or inspiration for our DFW beauties?
A smile is your best accessory. When your smile is genuine and radiant, the clothes are secondary. But clothes sure make life fun!
