Name & Age:
Jasmine Crockett, 24
A little background:
Originally from Montgomery, Alabama and graduated from The University of Alabama. I moved to Dallas in 2013 with my college sweetheart. One strange fact most people don't know is that when I started my college career, I was a pre-med major and a look at me a few years later on a completely different path and loving it. Growing up around successful entrepreneurs such as my dad, it's always been in my blood to work for myself and use my creativity to help others. Through CPR and DBC, I am able to do that and give others the platform to build their brand and blogs.
Beauty regimens and tips?:
As much as I love sweet tea, water is my main go-to. I haven't had an amazing experience with any products that I just want to rave about because my skin is so sensitive. I try not to try so many things that could ultimately cause a breakout. So definitely drinking the advised amount of water daily and staying away from sodas.
What are your fav local DFW beauty brands and/or beauty related services?
I'm going to have to go with MiniLuxe. I'm a clean freak especially when it comes to anything dealing with my body and they are extremely clean. It's amazing! Plus they are super sweet!
Must-have summer accessories?
Maxi dresses. I could wear a dress everyday in the summer time. It gets really hot here and just feeling free is my main concern in this Texas heat.
Favorite local brunch spot?
That's easy Social House Uptown!
If you could have dinner with any local DFW woman, who would it be?
If my mom lived here she would take the cake but I would have to say Kimberly Alexander. She owns a company called KimCONNECTS and I have followed her on Instagram for some time now. She is truly involved in so many great organizations and her will to give back is amazing. I also love the fact she is very involved with cancer related organizations and losing someone myself who I was very close to from cancer I know is hard to do but she stands tall and strong and that is amazing!
Any last words or bits of inspiration for our DFW Beauties?
Here is my favorite verse of all time and my go-to verse when things are looking down:
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" - Philippians 4:13
