Name & Age:
Carolina Rendon, 34
Luxury Real Estate Agent and VP at Allie Beth Allman & Associates
A little background:
I was born and raised in Colombia, and have been a Dallas resident for the past 16 years. I'm a Texan with a Latina's heart. I love Dallas!
I graduated from Dallas Baptist University where I earned a Bachelor in Business and an MBA in Finance. I'm married to the love of my life and business parter. We are a family of 3. The third family member is Tiffany, a spoiled yorkie that rules the house.
My background is in finance, but 8 years ago I decided to do real estate full-time after venturing with my husband in the world of real estate investing. I love business but more importantly, helping people. I enjoy guiding my clients through the purchase or sale of one of their biggest investments: their home.
Beauty regimens and tips?
My 2 favorite beauty regimes are a great workout followed by relaxing wet sauna session.
Exercise not only makes one look good but feel good too.
With all honesty, I didn't used to exercise regularly. I get bored walking on a treadmill. I need action! Last year I joined Equinox in Highland Park and absolutely love their group classes. After a workout, I go to the wet sauna and relax for a few minutes. It makes my skin glow. I love it!
I'm a coconut oil addict. I put it on my face and neck at night and try as much as I can to drink water. Especially, as soon as I wake up.
What are your favorite local DFW beauty brands and/or beauty related services?
For a great hair and makeup I love Natalia Issa's hair and makeup. She comes to my place, fixes my hair and does AMAZING work. I just close my eyes and let her do wonders. She always makes me look gorgeous!
Must-have home decor accessories?
Fresh flowers for sure. My home is filed with flowers. They are everywhere; in my bathroom, living room, by my bed, seriously, everywhere.
Orchids, hydrangeas and Tulips are my favorite.
For accessories, I love different stores in the Design District. I always find great things there. The last accessory I found there was a beautiful white coral that I ended up placing in my living room next to a white orchid.
Favorite DFW restaurant of the moment? Patio or Bar?
Their food is not just delicious, it's a work of art.
If you could have dinner with any local DFW woman, who would it be?
I would love to have dinner with Laura Bush. She is a very intelligent and classy woman who is making a great difference in many people's lives.
I could ask her so many questions but just letting her speak and share her wisdom would be absolutely fine.
Any last words, pieces of wisdom for our DFW beauties?
