Beauty regimens and tips?

It's all about routine. You can have the best beauty products in the world but if you don't use them regularly, it's no good. I'm obsessed with Kate Somerville products. They totally transformed my skin.

What are your favorite local DFW beauty brands or beauty related services?

I get my hair done at Salon Pompeo and don't think I'll ever change! It has such an urban chic feel and everyone is so friendly. For spray tans - Simply Glowing is absolutely the best.

What are your favorite DFW boutiques?

Milk & Honey is my go-to always. It's a one-stop shop, no matter what you're shopping for. I'm also a big fan of Riffraff which just opened a few months ago!

What would your Vday date night look consist of?

This is tough because February is cold! I think the perfect date night look would involve a good leather legging, fur (or faux fur!) vest, and a pair of Sam Edelman pumps. You'll want to ditch the big hobo bag for date night and take a dainty yet flirty clutch!

Also, Valentine's Day is a great excuse to wear a bold red lip. And don't forget your favorite perfume. My perfume that I always wear on special occasions {wore it on my wedding day!} is Chance by Chanel.

The Perfect Vday Date Night ...

I honestly love Valentine's Day, mostly because everything is pink and red and there are hearts and chocolates everywhere. When it comes to date night though on the 14th, I'm pretty low key. The perfect date night for me would be dinner, either at R+D Kitchen or Neighborhood Services. Like, a really good dinner + sharing a really good bottle of wine. After that, coming home, taking off the leather leggings and putting on pajama pants. Maybe a little dancing in the kitchen, and then watching a romantic movie with my husband.

Call me old fashioned, but that sounds pretty ideal to me!

If you could have dinner with any local DFW woman, who would it be?

Honestly, I would love to have dinner with a mom who lives in a homeless shelter, or just a very underprivileged woman. I think as a fashion blogger, it's so easy to get caught up in the "dallas lifestyle" and we can so easily forget how truly blessed we are.
