Name & Age:
Amber England, 24
A little background:
I am Dallas-born, Texas-raised woman, who adores my friends and family, and aspires to travel and explore the world.
In pursuit of my education and athletic career, I left Dallas to attend college at Northwood University in West Palm Beach, Florida where I majored in Advertising and Marketing Management, and was active in Women’s Soccer and AD Club.
It has now been two years since I retired from oversized t-shirts, running shorts and ponytails to become a fashion enthusiast and secure my first job as a Marketing Assistant at British women's retailer - Aftershock London.
That valuable tenure led to job at Need - a refined retailed and lifestyle magazine for men.
Fav thing to do in the DFW?
I really enjoy running the Katy Trail - I do my best to go about three times each week. It's sometimes nice to take a break from lipstick and heels.
I rarely go a day without my NARS Highlighting Blush. It adds dimension to my face and the soft shimmering color creates an instant radiant glow.
Truth be told, I love NARS everything. Including the NARSissit Smokey Eye Compact. Being the huge 'smokey eye’ fan that I am, it allows me to do everything from a natural to a dark-bold smokey eye. The pigmentation is complementing too.
Lastly, I have very sensitive skin and Merle Norman is my product range of choice to combat this. I exfoliate everyday, and one solution I have found to be very effective is their AHA Intensive Complex - a serum that provides continuous exfoliation. I apply it every night after I wash my face and before my moisturizing cream. In fact, I use Merle Norman for all my skincare regimens.
With Valentine's Day around the corner can you describe the perfect date night in DFW.
Eating the best damn steak available.
If you could have dinner with any local DFW woman, who would it be? Why?
It would be an honor to have dinner with the President and CEO of The Neiman Marcus Group, Karen Katz.
Everyday, I strive to be the best I can be, both professionally and personally. Karen’s success inspires me, and I believe she could give me great insight when it comes to the business of fashion by hearing her story.
