DFW Beauty Guide: Must Have Fall/Winter Coats

Bomber

The bomber was hot this past summer, with it's variety of light weight fabrics and exciting patterns, they were easy to add into any style wardrobe. For fall, look for this jacket in solid colors or neutral patterns, and in warmer fabrics. Sometimes from the outside it may look thin, but check your jacket's lining too! This will make a huge difference in how warm it will keep you.

Dusters

Dustsrs are the hottest style of jacket this fall. It's modern, yet it can easily be incorporated in many styles. Pastels and neutrals are the biggest colors for this trend.

Boyfriend Jacket

The boyfriend jacket is just as it implies, masculine. This style isn't for everyone, but it can definitely be a fun addition to your closet if paired right!

Trench Coat

This style of coat has been in for many seasons now, and it's not going anywhere. Trenches are everyone's favorite and when you find the perfect one for you, it becomes a staple in your wardrobe. Don't be afraid to try something different, like the coat above with it's contrast if texture and color.

The Cape

This is one of my personal favorites for fall! This style is flexible and comfortable. Capes also tend to be flattering for many body types. It's the kind of outwear that can make your whole outfit.

This is simply a guide to help you find the best style of fall/winter outerwear you'd like to sport this season.

Here are some local boutiques that will help you start your fall shopping and build your wardrobe: Tootsies, Elements, and RiffRaff Dallas.
